Wilco Outdoors Roots
Wilco Service was founded in 2017 by Cody Wilson as a company dedicated to providing high-quality services and solutions. In 2024, Cody expanded his reach in the outdoor industry by becoming a one-third owner of Reigning Waterfowl, where he played a key role in helping the brand launch and grow.
By late 2025, Cody, alongside his father, decided to pursue their own vision and officially founded Wilco Outdoors as a subsidiary of Wilco Service, LLC. From its inception, Wilco Outdoors has been more than just a company—it is an adventure brand built for those who live for the outdoors. The company focuses on hunting, fishing, camping, overlanding, off-roading, and more, creating experiences and merchandise that connect people with nature and the adventure lifestyle.
Today, Wilco Outdoors partners with some of the top names in the outdoor industry while maintaining a commitment to innovation, quality, and authentic outdoor experiences. Whether through expert guidance, gear, or adventure opportunities, Wilco Outdoors continues to grow as a trusted name for outdoor enthusiasts everywhere.

Cody Wilson
Cody Wilson is the founder of both WilCo Service Company and Wilco Outdoors, two sister brands built on hard work, grit, and a burning passion for the outdoors. From a young age, Cody spent every spare moment outside—hunting, fishing, exploring, and learning the land. Those early days grew into a deep respect for wildlife, a love for adventure, and a drive to build something meaningful around the lifestyle he lives every day.
Over the years, Cody has pursued a wide range of outdoor disciplines—from waterfowl and fishing to off-road exploration, overlanding, camping, and backcountry travel. His hands-on experience in so many different fields has shaped the purpose and direction of Wilco Outdoors: to create opportunities, provide reliable gear support, and build a community where adventure is accessible to anyone willing to step into the wild.
With WilCo Service founded in 2017 and Wilco Outdoors established as a subsidiary in 2025, Cody continues to guide both companies with the same principles he grew up with: Faith in Jesus Christ, integrity, hard work, and a genuine love for the outdoors. His vision remains simple—help people explore more, experience more, and live the outdoor life to the fullest.
Jim Wilson
Jim Wilson, father of founder Cody Wilson, is the steady foundation behind the values that shape both WilCo Service Company and Wilco Outdoors. From the very beginning, Jim has led his family with unwavering faith, consistency, and a deep-rooted belief in living life with purpose. His influence played a defining role in Cody’s upbringing, instilling in him the work ethic, integrity, and love for the outdoors that ultimately built the Wilco brands.
Jim has always had a natural drive to be outside. Whether it’s standing in a cold Missouri stream casting for trout, slipping through the woods during deer season, or simply exploring new backroads in search of fun and good company, Jim is rarely indoors for long. His passion for nature isn’t just a hobby—it’s a lifestyle, one he’s shared with his family for decades.
Today, he continues to travel across Missouri in pursuit of trout, deer, and memorable adventures. Jim’s spirit of exploration and his commitment to faith and family remain a guiding force within Wilco, representing the heart of what the outdoors truly means to the Wilson family.
